SCOTT CO., Ind. (WHAS11)—Two Indiana residents are behind bars after a an investigate by Indiana State Police.
Police began their investigation with detectives received a tip of an alleged large amount of methamphetamine being delivered to Scott County. Authorities set up surveillance at a residence located on East State Road #56, just east of Scottsburg.
Early Thursday morning ISP detectives with U.S. Postal Inspectors, ATF agents and officers from the Harrison Co. Sheriff’s Department and Salem City Police Department arrested Angela Lee, 35 of Bellevue Drive in Scottsburg.
Authorities recovered over one pound suspected meth. They continued their investigation by going to her home.
At her home they encountered Robert E. Lee, 38, where they seized $9,000 in money and meth.
Robert and Angela Lee are under arrest for felony possession of a controlled substance. They are being housed at the Scott County Jail awaiting their first court appearance.
