ISP arrest man with meth during traffic stop

He was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine.

AUSTIN, Ind. (WHAS11)—Indiana State Police arrested a man after finding meth during a traffic stop.

Police said a trooper stopped to check out a vehicle parked partially in the road of Church Street and Rice Street in Austin.

Police said Brian Bixler, 41 of Scottsburg, was the driver of the vehicle and was acting suspicious, causing the trooper to investigate further. Upon further investigation the trooper located methamphetamine on Bixler.

He was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and is being held in the Scott County Jail.
