ISP: Man busted after traffic stop revealed small marijuana operation

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) – A 21-year-old man is facing charges after police they found large amounts of marijuana in his vehicle.

Indiana State Police say they pulled over Joshua Woods near the intersection of North First Avenue and North Park Drive when they noticed him speeding 13 miles over the speed limit.

According to police, they noticed an odor of raw marijuana which led to a search of the vehicle.

Police discovered several bags of marijuana, 100 small plastic baggies, digital scales, a plant grinder and $1900 in cash.

Woods is facing charges including dealing and possession of marijuana over 30 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.
