JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Federal agents are investigating after search warrants were issued for the Physicians Primary Care offices in Indiana and Kentucky.

The offices, located at 1804 E. 10th St. in Jeffersonville and 3900 Dupont Square in Kentucky, were raided Wednesday.

A patient in the building when the investigation began told WHAS11's Michelle Arnold she was getting her blood pressure checked at the Jeffersonville office when investigators busted through the door.

The patient also said the clinic is known for over-prescribing narcotics and she was not surprised by the raid.

The US attorney's office said sealed federal search warrants were served to the doctor's offices.
