LOUISVILLE, Ky. (News Release) –  Motorcycle accidents continue to pile up this summer. Sunday, May 25, Miranda Flowers, 42, and her husband, Gerald Flowers Jr., 43, were traveling southbound on I-65.

They were each riding on their motorcycles when traffic began to slow. Both attempted to swerve right to avoid the Ford Expedition in front of them. Miranda Flowers struck the back of the Expedition and overturned. Gerald Flowers Jr., also swerving right, hit the bike driven by his wife and was ejected from his motorcycle.

Miranda Flowers was pronounced dead on the scene by the Hardin County Coroner and her husband was airlifted to UofL Hospital and is currently in critical condition.
