LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Hundreds of motorcycle riders are revving up and rolling across the country as they run for the wall.
They rolled through Kentuckiana Wednesday morning, May 21, picking up riders along the way.
They're final destination is the Vietnam wall memorial in Washington, D.C.
The annual ride pays tribute to service members killed in action, POWs, veterans and active duty members.
Many of the riders still get choked up over the cause.
The ride has grown so much, that it now includes three routes across the country.
They will stop at the Vietnam memorial in Frankfort, at VA hospitals and finally arrive in D.C. Friday afternoon.
