Hot dog vendor accused of deadly road rage shooting indicted

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The man suspected in a deadly case of road rage on Poplar Level Road was indicted by a grand jury Tuesday afternoon.

Donald Hayes is accused of killing Danny Wilson following a road rage incident that began on the Watterson Expressway.

During a preliminary hearing, prosecutors presented video evidence showing Hayes leaving the scene of the crime.

Hayes is scheduled to be arraigned on a murder charge Monday morning.

The charge carries the possible penalty of 20 to 50 years or life in prison.
