LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The latest in home design by Louisville's finest craftsmen is on display through the end of July during Homearama 2012 at Rock Springs and Shakes Run.
Families can explore 17 home sites in two Louisville neighborhoods to gain ideas about decorating, energy efficiency, and home improvements.
Ten of this year's homes are on showcase at Rock Springs on Hwy. 22/Ballardsville Rd. Visitors can take advantage of visiting the community playground and nature trail as well. Rock Springs is developed by RJ Thieneman Company.
Also on display at Rock Springs is a specially-made playhouse for a family who has two children with cerebral palsy. The playhouse, built by YouthBuild Louisville in partnership with the Homebuilders Association of Louisville and Kosair Charities, is state of the art, complete with air conditioning, heat, running water, television and internet.
