LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A man was tased multiple times after police say he resisted arrest.
According to a police report, seven officers tried to take Jonathan Curtis, 31, into custody because of felony warrants. The report says Curtis attempted to flee in a vehicle, while attempting to flee police say Curtis struck two vehicles.
The report says a US Marshal vehicle pinned the vehicle Curtis was driving into a parking spot. Curtis continued to attempt to flee, according to the report. A detective then went to the passenger side of the vehicle and tased Curtis when he "refused to comply with officer commands." Curtis continued to resist and was tased again.
According to the report Curtis was removed from the vehicle and began resisting again and was tased a third time.
The report says Curtis then began to cooperate. According to the police report, a crack pipe was seen in Curtis' hand.
He faces multiple charges including possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal mischief, resisting arrest and wanton endangerment.
