BARDSTOWN, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown is calling the annual release of its Parker’s Heritage collection a labor for love.

The “Promise of Hope” bottle will be available in mid-September at a cost of $90 per bottle.

$20 of each bottle sold will go to the Parker Beam Promise of Hope Fund in honor of Master Distiller Emeritus Parker Beam who has been diagnosed with ALS.

Heaven Hill is estimating that the overall contribution to the Promise of Hope Fund will be over $250,000.

This is the first cause related bottling in the Parker’s Heritage Collection series and this is also the first time that a single barrel American whiskey has been offered in the collections.
