WHAS11 -- Some tense moments in Rubbertown on Sunday, June 13th, where two hazardous chemicals were leaking from a rail car at the Dow Chemical plant. The leak was brought under control by 6pm, and area residents given the go ahead to return outdoors. The chemicals are methyl methacrylate, a colorless liquid used in paints, and ethyl acrylate, which is used in resins and plastics. Officials think the heat may have caused the leak. WHAS11 photojournalist, Michael Driver, was right in the middle of it as the event unfolded.
