Murray, Ky. (WHAS) – More jobs are coming to Kentucky with a German automotive supplier making plans to open its first America plant.
Governor Steve Beshear was with executives from IWIS (EE-VIS) to make this announcement.
The governor says the $12.5 million investment was the result of an economic mission he made to Germany earlier this year.
The plant will create 75 jobs in the Western Kentucky city.
The Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority has preliminarily approved a package of tax incentives worth $2.5 million.
