GOSHEN, Ky. (WHAS11) – Kentucky State Police say they’ve arrested an Oldham County man after the discovery of a marijuana grow operation in his home.

Police say a tip led them to 51-year-old Rodney Cox’s home in the 2600 block of Shiloh Lane where they found four marijuana plants growing in the basement and 6 growing in a closet of one of the bedrooms.

In addition to the plants, police discovered 9 ounces of processed marijuana, digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.

Cox was arrested and charged with cultivating and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He also charged with trafficking in marijuana which is his second offense.

Cox is booked and awaiting arraignment at the Oldham County Detention Center.
