The owner of the Clifton neighborhood restaurant called Genny's Diner has been given more time by a judge to find a buyer for a dilapidated house located next to his restaurant.

The Jefferson County Attorney's Office has prosecuted Faris for several years for not maintaining his property located on Frankfort Avenue.

He originally purchased the property intending to demolish it for parking but the house is considered an historic landmark.

Monday Faris came to court still without a resolution or a buyer and was given the choice to either make the repairs or sell the property to the city.

“This thing has got to be solved. I don't know why it's taken four years, but we are out of time,” said District Court Judge Sean Delhanty.

He gave Farris till March 1st to work out the sale of his property to the city or else he faces jail time.

If I was Frank Faris, I'd be selling my business location and buying one over in Indiana where the liberal fools and control freaks aren't going to worry about your owning some property that is old and dilapidated and then wont let you do what you want with it. I wonder when the hypocrites of the Frankfort Avenue area and all that East End is going to start caring about the old dilapidated yet historic structures of the West End, Russell, Shawnee, etc. They obviously dont care about that. Maybe Frank will realize that these brown shirts aren't really interested in preservation but controlling what anyone else does. Then sell the property and move it to Indiana where socialism isnt so much in vogue as it is in the 16th largest dump in America.
