(WHAS 11)--If you're planning to head down to the Bats game make sure to take advantage of their free cancer screenings.

A recent study showed that sore throat and neck masses are the most common initial symptoms of certain type’s cancer.

Doctors from the James Graham Brown Cancer Center will perform free head and neck cancer screenings between 5 and 8 p.m.

This is the fifth time the cancer center has hosted screenings at a Bats game.
