FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) – More than 8,000 prescription pills and 7.5 pounds of marijuana are now off the streets.
Police in Frankfort found cash, drugs, and drug paraphernalia when they stopped 33-year-old Christopher Mays for a traffic violation.
During the stop, Mays’ girlfriend Brittany Hawkins drove by several times and eventually stopped to see what was going on.
Both cars were searched and an estimated $67,000 worth of drugs were found.
Mays and Hawkins are facing numerous drug charges.
