Former Harrison County sheriff pleads guilty to battery, intimidation

(WHAS11) – Former Harrison County Sheriff, Mike Deatrick, pleaded guilty to battery and intimidation in Clark County court Monday morning.

Deatrick was convicted of two felonies and four misdemeanors. He will serve one and a half years under home arrest and another year in intensive probation.

He also pleaded guilty to insurance fraud pertaining to a worker’s comp claim and destruction of evidence.

He was accused of fondling two former employees, threatening them at gunpoint, and then trying to hide the evidence.
