(WHAS11) -- Tens of thousands of people who flocked to the Louisville waterfront for the 10th annual Forecastle Music Festival got more than they bargained for with weather and traffic delays Saturday.
For nearly two hours Saturday, gates were closed at the 10th annual Forecastle event. Event organizers delayed the start of the festival because of severe weather.
The first act was supposed to go on at 3 p.m. Saturday, but had to be pushed back until around 4:30 p.m.
Music fans showed up prepared with umbrellas and rain gear and said despite the problems, they weren't disappointed.
