LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Another recall of the brand new Louisville built Ford Escape.
More than 7,600 Ford Escapes are being recalled because a coolant leak can cause the engine to catch fire and overheat.
The recall affects 2013 models built at the Ford Fern Valley Road Assembly Plant, with one point six four cylinder engines.
Dealers have repair parts available and owners should make service appointments.
Ford will fix the problem for free. It's the third recall in less than two months for the completely redesigned SUV, which also has had problems with fuel lines and carpet padding.
