(WHAS11) -- New details are emerging after a former Oldham County Police officer resigned when he was arrested for sending inappropriate messages to an underage girl.
According to the criminal complaint, Shane Mosley pulled over a car last week and smelled marijuana. Mosley cited a male in the car but did not cite the girl in the car.
The complaint states Mosley got her number and began texting her, claiming he would not tell her parents about the traffic stop if she proved herself to him and stayed away from drugs.
The texting continued, according to the complaint, and became more graphic and sexual. Allegedly, Mosley even asked her for a pornographic picture.
