Fires in California threaten hundreds

(WHAS11) – Wildfires in northern California have now burned more than four square miles and prompted evacuations in the surrounding areas. 

The fires began in the morning hours of Tuesday in the Pope Valley area of Napa County. As of right now, no injuries have been reported but over 200 homes are being threatened by the fire. 

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
