LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville Metro Police are investigating an accident in Pleasure Ridge Park involving a moped and a Ford Focus that left one man dead.

The accident happened about 10:50 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Cane Run Road and Terry Road.  Police say the Focus was turning from Cane Run Road onto Terry Road and into the path of the moped.

According to the Jefferson County Coroner, Edward Fey Jr., 34, of Louisville died from multiple blunt force trauma.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  The female passenger on the moped was taken to a hospital and is in grave condition.   Police say the female was in her twenties.
