LOUISVILLE, Ky (WHAS11) -- A man who died in an accident at the I-64W and I-264 interchange Sunday around 1:30 PM has now been identfied.

The Jefferson County Coronor says Michael Shea, 46, was killed in that accident Sunday afternoon.

LMPD responded to an accident after a tan Ford Explorer had been hit by a red Suzuki Forenza and both had pulled over to the right side of the road to survey the damage. While Shea, the driver of the Explorer, and the female driver of the Forenza were looking at the damage, a black Ford F-250 pick-up truck hit the Forenza in the left rear, pinning the driver of the Explorer between the Explorer and the Forenza.

Shea, of Greenwood, Ind. was taken to UofL Hospital, where he died from his injuries.  Neither the driver of the Forenza nor the driver of the pick-up truck were hurt.

The accident is under investigation, but at this point no charges are expected to be filed.
