GIBSON CO., Ind. (Press Release) – On Wednesday at approximately 1:21 p.m. central time a crash between a farm tractor and a semi-tractor trailer left one person injured.

Police say a farm tractor, pulling a Rolling Harrow, and a 2008 Mack semi-tractor, pulling a tank trailer, were traveling south on US 41 at the 33 mile marker.  The tractor traveled into the left lane and into the path of the Mack semi-tractor and the two vehicles collided, according to police.

The driver of the farm tractor was transported by ambulance to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville for treatment of head injuries.  The driver of the semi-tractor, Brian Lamb, of Flat Rock, Ill. was not injured.

US 41 southbound lanes were shut down for approximately 1.5 hours while emergency crews worked the scene.

Troopers do not believe alcohol and or drugs to be a factor.
