LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- FBI agents extensively searched a home at 2415 Ralph Ave. on Tuesday night. Officers were seen removing documents and evidence in a search that lasted more than four hours. Metro Police also towed a car from a body shop garage behind the residence.

Jerry Carter owns the house that was searched and also lives next door, but officers weren’t able to tell him much about what was going on.

“I asked him if he could tell me what was going on and he said it's just an FBI joint drug investigation,’ said Carter.

Carter said he rented the house to a couple five or six months ago and has never had a problem. He also said he’s seen two men working on cars at the garage behind the house which is separated by a fence.

The FBI would not comment on the investigation, but said they would be releasing information in the future.
