LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – A Louisville man is facing burglary charges after he was caught red-handed breaking in a local eatery in the Paristown Point neighborhood just off East Broadway.

Authorities say they were tipped off by an employee who said 61-year-old Henry Bradshaw was inside of the freezer unit at The Café, which is located on the outside of the building.

Officers said Bradshaw told them he was just “looking around to see what was inside the freezer” when it was discovered he was trying to get away with $55 worth of bacon.

The bacon was returned to the owners and Bradshaw faces burglary charges in the third degree.
