LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Kentucky primary is not too far away and the Jefferson County Clerk is looking for poll workers.
Jefferson County Clerk Bobbie Holsclaw said the county needs 2,200 poll workers, equal amount democrats and republican.
About 1,100 democrats and 1,100 republicans are needed to help arrange polling locations, process voters and complete paperwork for the clerk's office.
The primary is May 20, 2014.
Each election officer is paid a minimum of ten dollars for attending the mandatory training and a minimum of 60 dollars on Election Day.
