LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Louisville Metro Police said an elderly man is dead after he was struck while crossing the street about 6 p.m. Saturday, in the 4100 block of Murphy Lane.
The man, whose name has not currently been released, was taken to University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Metro Police said an investigation is underway, but they do not believe alcohol or speed was a factor in the accident.
