Egypt: Blast at Cairo University kills officer, wounds 3

(CNN) -- At least one person was killed after a pair of explosions at Cairo University on Wednesday, Egypt's state-run Nile TV reported.

A senior security officer from the Interior Ministry died in the attack, Nile TV said. The blasts took place near an engineering facility at the university.

At least three others were wounded in the explosions.
