EMS worker injured in June crash released from hospital Wednesday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – One of the paramedics injured in an ambulance crash is expected to be released from University Hospital Wednesday.

John Johnson was seriously injured when the ambulance he was riding in was hit by a car.

The accident happened last month on Frankfort Avenue and River Road.

The other paramedic, John Morgan, will remain in the hospital. His release date is unknown.

48-year-old Christopher O’Bryan was killed in the crash.
