DANVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The search continues for a suspect who is accused of killing three people inside a pawn shop in Danville, Ky.

It led to a lockdown at Centre College Friday morning, Sept. 20, just blocks from the scene.

Three people inside the ABC Gold Games and More Pawn Shop were killed.

It's believed the couple who owned the pawn shop was killed, along with a customer. The couple's two children were not harmed, a 9-year-old was the one who called 911 and reported what happened to police.

The pawn shop sits just blocks from Centre College and within minutes of those murders, Centre along with other nearby schools went on lockdown.

It was back in April that Centre College prepared for such a scenario joining us live on the phone to talk about how things went is  Michael Strysick  the director of communications at Centre. It is family weekend at the school so there are a lot of guests at the school.
