(WHAS 11)—There’s a protest in Shelby County over a proposed anti-discrimination law, LGBT Fairness supporters say is being overlooked.

Fairness supporters in Shelbyville say the law would protect the LGBT community from several types of discrimination.

There are similar laws in place in Louisville, Lexington, and 4other Kentucky cities.

April 3 at 6 p.m. the Fairness Campaign will demonstrate outside of Shelbyville’s city hall.
