LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- One person was killed and four others were transported overnight after a serious crash in Hardin County.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday on the Joe Prather Highway between Woolridge Ferry and Happy Hollow roads.
According to reports, two vehicles hit head-on and 23-year-old Ashlee Berry was killed. Berry was the only occupant in her vehicle. All four transported to the hospital were in the other vehicle.
Police said three of those transported are children and they were air-lifted to Kosair Children's Hospital.
The roadway was shut down overnight and remained closed until nearly 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
