(WHAS11 News) -- Jeffersontown Police responded around 5:30 a.m. with a report of a pedestrian struck by a tractor trailer on I-64 near Hurstbourne Lane.
According to Jeffersontown Police, they have no word on why the pedestrian, a Hispanic male, was crossing the interstate where the fatal accident occurred.
Westbound I-64 was closed for about three hours after the accident. All lanes have been reopened.
