LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The WHAS11 Crusade for Children hosted a thank you celebration for the people who keep the Crusade moving forward.
Many in attendance at the Kentucky Derby Museum organize the army of volunteers who make the Crusade possible every year.
Good Morning Kentuckiana’s Andy Treinen and Melissa Swan introduced volunteers to an individual who makes the hard work worth it.
Levi Logsdon receives services through VIPS, the Visually Impaired Preschool Services. His mom says VIPS has opened new doors to Levi.
Last year, the Crusade raised $6 million for its 60th year.
The 61st Crusade for Children will be held June 7 and June 8.
