LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Emergency crews were called to the scene of a school bus accident around 2:45 Monday afternoon at the intersection of Breckinridge Lane and Floyd Street.
JCPD bus number 0714, a special needs bus from Southern High School, was involved in the accident.
Ben Jackey with JCPS says only one student was on the bus. He says that student was transported to the hospital with a minor injury.
Police tell WHAS11 the bus and a car were traveling westbound on Breckinridge Lane. The car then tried to change lanes and the two vehicles collided.
It is not clear if anyone else was injured at this point.
