(WHAS11) -- Electrical crews are inspecting the Eggners Ferry Bridge over Kentucky after navigation lights on the bridge failed to work overnight.
A boater called 9-1-1 dispatchers late Sunday night, saying the lights were out on the bridge that connects the land between the lakes with Aurora.
A state trooper checked it out, confirmed the bridge was dark and told the coast guard to warn barge crews.
The bridge just re-opened Memorial Day weekend, after being struck by a cargo ship in January.
The ship took out a 322 foot section of the bridge.
Navigation lighting was repaired during the construction.
