Crawley's attorneys to request hearing on lethal injection drugs

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - An Oklona woman charged with her grandmother's murder wants to know how she would die if she was convicted and sentenced to death.

It's believed to be the first of its kind request in the wake of two national cases of botched executions.

According to the Courier-Journal, attorneys for Ellen Crawley will ask a judge to hold a hearing on what drugs would be used for lethal injection.

Crawley is accused of robbing, beating and choking her grandmother, mary mcclain and stuffing the body in a trash can in september of 2012.
