BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Kentucky sinkhole that’s become a popular tourist attraction will be partially filled in at the Corvette Museum.
The museum directors have decided to keep just a portion of the hole that swallowed 8 classic Corvettes. They will maintain a 25-by-45-foot section which is about 30 feet deep.
A bridge will be built over the site as part of the tourist attraction.
The sinkhole developed in February and caused more than $1 million in damage to the classic cars.
