BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines because the Corvette Assembly Plant in Bowling Green is preparing to reopen to the public.
Over the past year, the plant has made $131 million in upgrades in order to manufacture the new C7 Stingray.
Now, the machines are in place and tours are set to begin again October 14.
More than 50,000 guests visit the plant each year, but that number is expected to get even higher after the Stingray debuts.
In case you were wondering, the Stingray will start at just under $52,000.
