Cookout, raffle held to raise money for family of murdered man

LOUISVILLE< Ky. (WHAS11)—A cookout and raffle helped looking to raise money for the family of a murder victim to pay for funeral expenses.

The event was held on Thursday and money be given to the family of 22-year-old Nicholas Baker who was shot and killed in the parking lot of the Berrytown Apartment Complex on Saturday night.

It was held at Wyandotte Park and began at 6 p.m.

Kevin Franklin, 22, is charged with murder and tampering with evidence in this case.
