LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The two Campbellsville firefighters hurt while taking part in an ALS ice bucket challenge remain hospitalized.

The accident happened Thursday afternoon, Aug. 21, at Campbellsville University.

The firefighters were spraying the marching band with water from an aerial ladder when electricity "arced" from nearby power lines.

Captain Tony Grider was most seriously injured. He remains in critical condition at in the UofL Burn Unit.

Firefighter Simon Alex Quinn is also listed in fair condition.
