LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Hundreds came out to support a local three-year-old battling leukemia during a benefit concert Tuesday evening.
The owner of Baxter’s 942 on Bardstown Road held a benefit concert for Addie Roberts and her family.
Country singer Gary Allan headlined the show.
Addie has gone through 6 months of steroid injections, chemotherapy and most recently a feeding tube for treatment of her cancer.
The event meant a lot to her family and those who showed up for the event.
The benefit fundraiser was set up after an organizer said he’d booked bands for a concert that never happened.
Police say he pocketed the money for himself.
The concert raised $10,000 dollars for Addie and her family.
