Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) -- More than 30 employees who lost their jobs at Clements Catering at the Kentucky Derby Museum received their paychecks Wednesday.
The museum ended its contractual agreement with owner Steve Clements and his company last week.
We were there as employees were escorted out with their boxes.
Many were concerned they would not get paid after Clements’ other business, the Avalon restaurant, closed abruptly this week. They picked up their checks Wednesday but many are concerned that the hours may be inaccurate.
