LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)--  Some Clark County Drug Court employees are being labeled as abusers of individual rights.

Two employees have been suspended after reports of improper arrests and unwarranted home searches.

Officials and attorneys representing the Clark County Drug Court said they cannot talk about the suspensions.

Attorney Larry Wilder said the judge of the court, Jerry Jacobi, has done nothing wrong.

Susan Knoebel and Jeremy Snelling were suspended after investigations led officials to believe the two were abusing their power with the court system.

Drug Court Defendant, Cody Hendrick, was put into custody by the two while he was at his job, Rocky’s on the River.

Wilder said the two were escorting Hendrick, not arresting him.

In the police report, Snelling stated he had arresting powers, but officials with the Sheriff Department said that was not true.

A criminal investigation is underway to uncover if any laws were broken.
