Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - There were quite a few delays but the animal walk in downtown Louisville finally happened as people stopped in their tracks to watch it all.
Nine elephants and a 25 horses moved down Broadway and onto 9th Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The animals are now safely inside the KFC Yum! Center Wednesday evening after they paraded through Downtown Louisville.
The elephants and horses are part of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.
The animals arrived in Louisville by train.
Kids and adults waited for hours in the cold to catch a glimpse at the parade.
The circus will be in town until Sunday.
