LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- "The Mansion" is coming to the Churchill Downs just in time for the 2013 Kentucky Oaks and Kentucky Derby.

It's part of $9 million in renovations at the track. It will be located on the 6th floor of the Clubhouse, where the media center is currently housed. A floor plan was released on Tuesday, July 31; plans include a private elevator leading up to a dining room, parlor, veranda, and much more. Three hundred and twenty invitation-only guests will be treated to a one-of-a-kind experience at the new venue.

"Imagine having your own private library to retire to, to enjoy the views and the vistas of the track, to relax with a personal concierge and butler service," said Churchill Downs President Kevin Flanery.

The media center will move to the ground floor and the Gold Room will be relocated and expanded. The Paddock Pavillion will be revamped as well.

"We are going to have an additional 30,000 feet of space in the paddock area for all of those enhancements. The food and beverage, the lounge seating, the picnic areas, all of that so it is a much more pleasant experience for our general admission customers on Kentucky Derby day and the Kentucky Oaks," Flanery said.

The price of an invitation has not been released yet but Darren Rogers of Churchill Downs says the price will likely be in the thousands.
