Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Louisville developer and former mayoral and state senatorial candidate Chris Theineman was released on bond on May 31.

He faces charges of violating an emergency protective order and intimidating a witness in the legal process.

Thieneman was first accused of assaulting a woman last fall. While out on bail during that case, Thieneman was arrested with these new charges.

According to the new police report, Thieneman had his employees go into the Snap Fitness on Dixie Highway and remove the front door on April 30.

Thieneman owns the building, but the business is operated by his ex-girlfriend.

The following day, police said he then told his employees to go and remove the plywood used to replace the front door and to move old equipment into the gym.
