LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Angel Cook just picked up a check for more than $113,000.
That money doesn’t come from the lottery, but from the father of her child. Curtis Gordon owed her that much money over the past nine years.
The collection came as a result of a recent $2.85 million judgment for Mr. Gordon against the Louisville Metro Housing Authority.
Angel Cook’s son will be a freshman at Indiana University this year.
