1 dead, 3 injured after car, truck collide in Hardin Co.

HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Four people were seriously injured overnight after a crash in Hardin County.

The accident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the intersection of Patriot Parkway and Deckard School Road. Police said a Ford Mustang collided with a pick up truck at the intersection.

Four people were airlifted to University of Louisville Hospital. Police said one of the four died at the hospital.

Police have yet to release any information about any of the victims.

Police are urging drivers to use caution as they approach the intersection as investigators reconstruct the accident.

Viewers told WHAS11 that stretch of roadway is dangerous. It's the second accident to happen at the corner of Patriot Parkway and Deckard School Road in Hardin County since Friday and now concerns are on the rise.
